Specific to the SDR team: lots of amazing veteran AEs to be mentored by, culture of recognition, lots of opportunities to develop relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with people in sales engineering and marketing, and maybe most significantly, opportunity to prospect for large deals to a wide range of personas at the biggest and most interesting target accounts
Career ladder from SDR to AE is not currently a pro but I suspect that once "Sr SDR" and "Associate AE" roles are fully created, that will be one too
Cons
Skills development and career growth from SDR to AE have not always been consistently strong, but it sounds like exec leadership is working hard on this and there have been new senior hires recently specifically for this
