Pros

Pay above average, benefits adequate. Work from home occasionally.

Cons

No diversity above the AVP level. Almost funny to see that many white males together! Rule by fear and toxic culture. Many African Americans employed from the old Chubb were let go in the past 3 years! Many forced into early retirement by the ACE Management or restructured out. They preach fake diversity as it is all surface level.

Pros

International opportunities/rotations. Strong International presence. Multiple locations across US for mobility. Lots of non technical training options online. Very good Education Benefit (smaller bonuses to complete various educational programs). Smart and dedicated co-workers. Robust bereavement benefit. Great options for medical insurance.

Cons

Inconsistent work from home arrangements. And held to a max of 2 days wfh per week. So behind the times. Total compensation is very good. Base salaries are lower compared to peer companies, which there is the most noise about. Low PTO to start (17 days per year). No jeans/business casual (only on Fridays). Also a MUST for workplaces today. This is such a missed employee engagement opportunity. Free and easy. Should appeal to senior management and is just not embraced.
