Pros

they seemed like they really cared and really wanted you to be in the business. tried making it seem like you are cared for and valued. saw my initiative and how much I liked the company and tried getting me promoted to a manager position which I was super stoked about

Cons

they fired me for literally no reason. did an "investigation" which was a random guy on a zoom call playing the worst good cop roll I have ever seen in my life. then after telling me everything was perfectly ok, that I wasn't loosing my job and they wanted me, i was called in like a week later and fired without given a reason why. no warning, no reason too, no severance, no help for after the fact, literally nothing straight kicked to the curb. found out after that this piece of garbage company had tried their best to hide layoffs. Even though I was doing work to literally become a manager with not stepping a foot wrong they just kicked me to the curb. like honestly good luck you are gonna have the rug pulled over your eyes and discarded faster than you think

Pros

Started as a sales consultant in 2021 when the Newark location was decently managed. We we're staffed well, I enjoyed my managers & business was booming. Customers we're pleased with their experience for the most part, vehicles were decently priced, appraisals we're fair. Benefits are nice, work life balance is tough unless you make it into presidents club where you can make your own schedule.

Cons

All of my sales managers were fired or quit. The company rolled out the "CEC" which was a call center that was supposed to assist with sales & help the customer. Instead, it took half of our pay as sales consultants & customers would come in upset & take it out on the consultant. We would find ourselves starting from square one with a lot of customers but getting paid less since they started the process online. You want to stay far away from moving up in management as you are walking on egg shells with your GM & regional. If you keep saying yes, you will be expected to do more than you are paid to do. I mentored almost every new salesperson that they hired because all the veterans we're smart enough to decline. You are looked at as a number, upper management only cares about your work habits, not your family. And you better be on time & ready to work Sundays (in Delaware) or you will be shown the door.
