Pros

Capco has a company culture of Work hard and Play hard. In case you want an active environment, challenging situation excites you, then you are in the right place, this company backs your aspiration... Plenty of travel opportunities and exposures to work with all top Banking MNCs across the globe... Compensation and benefits are comparatively far better in Indian market... Flat organisation structure and even an associate level employee can walk into CEO's cabin.. Massive and stylish parties... Lesser processes and more people focused.. In case you are a person who enjoys taking accountability and risk, then you can run your own organisation within this organisation..

Cons

Consistently performing with high energy could wear out people. Management displays an aggressive environment - primarily due to its customer focused nature. Work/Life balance could be a challenge to achieve. Bench strength is minimal to zero and this could pose significant job security, the moment you are out of project and your performance dips.

Your comments are testament to the fact that we are achieving that. As you rightly point out, Capco’s flat structure, open access to leadership and minimal bureaucracy enables employees to connect with their colleagues at all levels of the business, gain exposure to the leadership team and get involved in areas of the firm that interest them. We are disappointed to hear the specific concerns you raise around the working environment. Consulting can be a challenging and demanding career, however, we do not encourage an aggressive management style. If at any time an employee is unhappy with the style of management in their team, we would encourage them to speak with their HR Business Partner. If this is something which you are currently experiencing, then please reach out to the HR team to discuss. Regarding your comments on the business operating with zero bench, we have made a conscious effort to operate with a minimal bench and to ensure our people are engaged in projects. However, we continue to maintain flexibility where necessary through internal mobility and other options.

We are disappointed to hear your comments on the management changes and want to reassure you that as a firm, we remain committed to fostering an inclusive environment where employees can openly share their ideas and feedback and get involved in taking the firm forwards. An example of this is our new performance management process which has been designed based on employee feedback. As we pilot this new process we are continuing to collect employee feedback to ensure that it meets the needs of our people as well as the business.

Pros

What was great about working at Capco as they were up in letting you take cool classes for additional education even if it technically didn't have to do with your current job, for which the paid for! For example a decoding class. They were also know for being very active to let you participate in activities, like running races and playing tennis in Roosevelt Island in NYC, which they paid for! They also let you volunteer during working hours. Best of all, they paid for us to go to Puerto Rico, which felt like a vacation then work! This was back in 2015 before they were taken over by FIS, so things may have changed.

Cons

Even though Capco had a lot of Pros back in 2015, they also had a lot of Cons which included supervisors who made it difficult for you to work which ended up making you lose your job. Capco executives did not help in anyway from stopping the supervisor of treating the employee this way.

These groups and events are all organized and run by our dedicated and enthusiastic employees under the umbrella 'Forming the Future of Fun'. All of these activities remain a key part of the Capco culture and are what sets Capco's culture apart from many of its competitors. We are disappointed to hear your specific comments around supervisors. If there are any instances where an employee feels unhappy, we would always encourage them to speak with their HR Business Partner or Coach so that any issues can be dealt with. Without knowing details of your particular circumstances it's difficult to comment further, however, please be assured that we take any employee concerns raised very seriously.
