While we are pleased that you benefit from the training opportunities that we offer, we are disappointed to read the rest of your review. The demand for consulting services globally, and across the industry, has been lower in recent months due to the current economic climate. Our leadership team cares deeply about our people and as a responsible business, we take a considered approach to hiring based on client demand and the market. Regarding resourcing, as is standard with other consulting firms, Capco makes an effort to manage and balance employee resources and staffing in relation to client demand. Our aim is to always remain a people-centric firm and to provide options for our people. We also follow standard notice periods across our regions. As an organisation, there are many internal channels available to provide your feedback directly with our leadership team as well as our wider HR team, so we encourage you to raise your concerns directly with them.

Pros

There are good benefits/pay compared to other consulting firms; A fast learning curve is the only method here.

Cons

Very cliquey; if you're in the clique, you're a star; otherwise, you're a scar. Be prepared when on a project to be overworked until your last breath. ESG Project managers have little faith in the team and their ability to execute and are saying yes to the client's wildest requests for free. The only way to grow is through selling new projects or extensions, and no help is given to people outside the clique to be in a position to make sales.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoy many of the benefits of working at Capco. Regarding your other comments, all employees have a Coach as well as a Project Manager, to provide career support and guidance. If a colleague feels they need additional support then they are encouraged to reach out to their Coach, Client Partner or Domain/Capability Lead to discuss.
