Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed working with your Capco colleagues. Capco has a wide portfolio of prestigious clients offering a variety of interesting projects. As the business has grown, we have looked to balance the benefits of a smaller organization and team, alongside the benefits that come with being a larger, growing organization. This means fostering our entrepreneurial spirit and promoting a collaborative approach alongside our Be Yourself At Work culture which we believe continues to make Capco a very special place to work. Capco also regularly undertakes a salary benchmarking exercise to ensure that the compensation offered is competitive in the market in order to attract and retain the best talent.

Pros

There are a lot of people who are very nurturing and willing to info-share that absolutely make the Capco experience. I've met some of my favorite people here, people with fantastic humor and band together against cruddy situations and bolster each other up.

Cons

Unfortunately more often than not those individuals band together against Capco leadership, which in recent year seems to have soured. The culture has slowly become very cliquey, and upper management has made a habit of micro-managing teams and using borderline abusive language if individuals disagree with their way of doing things. Before I left I wasn't able to send an email without manager approval, even after having successfully led teams of previous projects. It really soured the experience and ultimately led to my departure.

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed working with your Capco colleagues and the strong team spirit. Regarding your comments on management, it is difficult to comment on your individual situation without further details, however Capco’s approach is always to empower employees and remove unnecessary obstacles and bureaucracy. We also actively encourage employees to speak up, challenge and share their ideas. We do not tolerate abusive language or behavior in any form, and if an employee has any concerns in this regard they are advised to speak with their coach, HR Business Partner or a member of the leadership team. We also have an independent reporting hotline available to all employees.
