A little too relaxed

Pros

The company is very diverse. Also, it's a pretty relaxed environment, but that's not necessarily a good thing.

Cons

I'd say that this company is a little to relaxed. The managers rarely enforce company policies, and they rarely abide by the company standard. This company used to be decent, but the management's lack of discipline and leadership skills created a culture that lacks competency and professionalism. I feel extra negativity towards this problem because it sets a new reputation for the company as an incompetent and unprofessional one.

We are disappointed to read that you feel this way based on your short time at Capco. The firm has strict policies in place, available to all employees through our policy portal and enforced through regular training. In addition, the firm has a reporting hotline available to all employees to report any issues at any time to an independent party. Any concerns reported through the hotline are swiftly investigated and addressed. In addition there is training in place for both managers and leaders at all levels in the firm, including our milestone schools for those promoted and new to level to ensure that they are equipped with the right skills and have the knowledge required. All employees are actively encouraged to speak up if they have concerns, suggestions or feedback and we recommend reaching out to a Coach, Manager, HR Business Partner or a member of the Leadership team. You will find that there is always someone ready to listen and provide support if needed.

Pros

Fine for early career although post being bought by wipro all the roles are very much bodyshopping roles - you’d be better off becoming a contractor and get paid a lot more. Bonuses are not great compared to the industry.

Cons

- bodyshopping roles - average salaries - uninclusive and outdated approach to hybrid / remote working

Provide a lot of training and sponsor staff to take professional examinations
