Capco operates with limited hierarchy and bureaucracy. Indeed, our people are empowered to get on with their work, share their ideas and shape their careers within a supportive culture. Contrary to your comments, Capco continues to have a wide portfolio of prestigious clients and projects. After a period of unprecedented levels of demand, the demand for consulting services has moderated somewhat due to the current economic climate, but our client relationships and outlook remain strong. However, like many businesses at this time, we are taking steps to ensure the future success of Capco and this has included offering voluntary, short-term sabbaticals to a limited number of employees.

Like any responsible business, Capco always takes a measured approach to hiring in line with business needs and market demand. Contrary to your comments, the firm has a large and varied portfolio of clients in the financial services industry. We partner closely with our clients, acting as trusted advisors to help them solve their most pressing challenges and transform their businesses. The nature of consulting means that at times, employees may spend a period of time on the bench while in between projects working on business-related projects. This also means we are able to react quickly to project resourcing needs.

Pros

:Salary is good for NYC region :Some colleagues are nice

Cons

: Not fair opportunity or direction for new employees : Favoritism among current employees : Indecision and structural problems in upper managers/ partners : Ad Hoc nature of integration with their parent company Wipro bringing unforeseen outcome and managers/ partners working hard to survive in their own role at the expense of new hires and other employees. : The Role of what promised at hiring/ interviews is not carried out once hired due to political nature with peers : Poor business outlook and pipelines in the department I was hired : Very high turnover I would stay away from this company unless it is your only hope, if you have a choice I would think twice before joining. Try to look up other non-impressive reviews: just select reviews in general and sort out by "most recent" without adding any filters.
