Pros

One of the few employers who walks the walk on commitment to people. Not come across any other employer who has a 'no time in role' approach for career progression. Great bunch of folks to work with.

Cons

Not your kind of workplace if you are looking for Consulting opportunities not focused in the financial services sector

Thank you for your positive review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoy working at Capco and collaborating with your colleagues. As you mention, Capco's 'no time in grade' policy really sets the firm apart in the market and allows our people to progress at a rate that is right for them. Capco also remains very focused on the people agenda and recognizes the importance of empowering our people, listening to their concerns and feedback, fairly rewarding them for their contribution to the firm and enabling them to share in the success. Capco retains its focus on the financial services industry - this allows our employees to specialize and as a firm, it means that we can deliver expertise and excellence to our clients.

Pros

Compensation is decent enough, although probably at part with the bigger firms when all things considered If you're lukcy, you can get some decent FS exposure FS niche which supposed to be good, but the client base is very small. In essence there are better firms though out there with a bigger consulting client base

Cons

Too many junior people promoted quickly because they know someone or are close to a partner Lack of knowledge on proper consulting work or what proper consultancy is all about Too much PMO related work Some long-term assignments feel like resource augmentation as oppose to consultancy or advisory Lack of big client list The picture sold is seldom what it actually is after you join Good projects managed by people who have no clue about managing resources and projects within a consulting aspect which in turn they become crappy projects

Pros

None, I can't really think of anything positive yet, probably will never do.

Cons

If you want to team to work as a team, don't come. If you want to work as a "real" consultant, don't come. Only join if there is no better offer.
