Pros

What is great about Capco is the people. Everyone is friendly and fits well together. Capco took the entire north american region to puerto rico as part of the regional employee forum (REF) . The experience was phenomenal. I learned that it was not just my team that had great people, but the entire organization. What differentiates Capco is the innovative, forward thinking, and entrepreneurial talent. Capco continues to grow because they are doing something right, investing in their people. If you want to have colleagues that genuinely care about helping you succeed, then you should look to Capco. No matter what your job is, if the people around you are not great, then you will not want to do great work. Capco people are the reason I go to work in the morning; they work hard and bring positive energy to the work environment. Capco is a very flat organization. Unlike the hierarchies that exist in most big consulting firms, senior management is very engaged with its people. Networking is encouraged in the organization. The medium size appeal of Capco is great. Capco is not small enough where the company could fail, but not so big as that your job could be consolidated. You can navigate your career and actually be recognized in the firm instead of being lost amongst the masses. Great associate training program. The focus on learning is what drew me to Capco. Capco wants to make you a better consultant and provides opportunities to grow.

Cons

Capco is only financial services. Depending on the project, work/life balance can be difficult if you are traveling a lot.

Pros

I joined the company 3 months ago and my experience so far has been great. You have: - access to very approachable senior management - training to develop your consulting skills - several social events (senior management engagement events, bar socials, a trip to Puerto Rico for all of NA!, team building events, clubs (skiing, tennis, etc) - opportunities to engage in non-client initiatives. (volunteering, start-ups, internal initiatives, etc.) - very entrepreneurial spirit (room to evolve and have input on how the company evolves) - A very charismatic CEO who is personable and easy to talk to. Built the company and has been there from day one. It is his passion. - Dedicated senior leaders who are looking to make the company a better place. Constant opportunities to provide feedback.

Cons

There is a large variety of projects at Capco so it is important to express your interests and aim for a project you enjoy. (some projects will be less interesting than others depending on individual interests) There are strategy project, change sourcing, implementation, and yes staff aug(like any other consulting firm). The company has been growing extremely fast and improving every month. With all the growth and interest in the company HR/HC is having difficulty keeping pace. Expanding HR/HC is planned for 2015 and hopefully it will help. It can be difficult to get away from the client to get involved in the Capco side of work which is where you really experience the great culture Capco has. It is important to get involved but this can be difficult with client responsibilities.

Pros

In this work hard, play hard culture, Capco brought the team from all of North America on a 3-night off-site to Puerto Rico to celebrate 2014 and to energize for 2015. What a great way to recharge, to bond with colleagues & leaders and to be inspired to prepare for the year ahead! The content and speakers at the off-site were world class and, at times, even mind-blowing. Capco has grown significantly in the past year and the dynamic leaders have a clear vision and path on how to grow even more in 2015.

Cons

Pro and con -- Capco is very fast-paced!
