Pros

Lots of freebies lol, very process driven company

Cons

The newsroom displays a very poor editorial understanding of Asian news/stories which is surprising given that it's had an on-ground team in Singapore for the longest time. Junior producers are not encouraged to pitch or contribute ideas because of its top-down bureaucratic structure. This perpetuates a very weak newsroom culture

Lots of Office Politics

Pros

Good working hours for television, nice gym, free shuttle from the city.

Cons

There are a few “anointed ones” who are chosen by management to advance. Others who are more talented and work harder are left behind. If you don’t kiss up to the right people, you will not get ahead. It’s office politics galore. They expect you to put in ten hour days on salary. The yearly self evaluations are ridiculous. Lately, the content has become very left leaning.
