Pros

Plenty of interesting projects in the Space sector. Great co-workers making up a young and enthusiastic team. Good use of modern tools and software. Great benefits.

Cons

While we were still working from the office, the on-site amenities (canteen, shuttle buses) received huge cutbacks. Industrial placement students and graduates given similar responsibilities to junior roles. but get paid much less.

I've been working at CGI (Lisbon, Portugal) for 1 year. It's a good company for starting after college. The environment is relaxed, and they are used to new and young people. There are good teams, with a mix of senior and junior developers.

Cons

The management of work is not good. The programmers are always to blame for poor documentation, that is not given to the development teams. The senior managers prefer to protect customers rather than perceive problems and try to solve them. This is very frustrating.

* CGI is a huge global leader so you can feel like a small cog -- however, you can quickly make your mark within your team/project.
