Pros

You have the opportunity to work with extremely dedicated, bright, and innovative people in the Networking Hardware and Software industry. I enjoyed working with the team members on various cross-functional teams at Brocade. The culture is awesome, and the leadership is superb. The execs seemed to truly want to create a work environment where the employees were highly engaged and hired a consulting firm to help with this endeavor.

Pros

Brocade was a great place to work, great / smart people, work / life balance A few good people still left. Brocade has done well to those how have been RIF'd.

Cons

Brocade's leadership team just finishing up what started 5 years ago, a plan to sell out below market of 13 dollar mark... shame... dismantled a once appealing product portfolio which if deal doesn't close can not be saved.

Pros

Compensation is very good. Benefits are excellent. Overall allow you to do your job and not interfere on a daily basis. Some members of leadership were excellent and empowering and motivating you to succeed.

Cons

Absolute train wreck since early 2016. Ruckus acquisition was handled poorly, management teams were assigned for groups they had no interest/experience in managing, no plan on how to leverage new product line with existing. Once BroadCom acquisition was announced, things got worse as management was trying to hold on to their positions and not caring one bit about the workforce.
