      Pros

      I've interned 6 months at the BCG in Paris. The atmosphere of the office is most often very nice and people genuinely try to help you develop (especially your soft skills). The BCG is a very prestigious firm in Paris and finding a job after my internship proved easy.

      Cons

      It is very hard to have a life outside office (which I was aware of). I've worked on 5 different projects (which is a lot in 6 months) and none of them was interesting. This is something that strategic consulting firms will not easily admit, but real "strategy" projects are very rare. Most projects focus on process & organization (often cost cutting...). These projects lack any sort of intellectual challenge.
