      Good place to start

      Pros

      Good Benefits, Good Work/Life balance, Nice people to work with, lots of vacation time walking in the door, decent pay

      Cons

      Lots of bureaucracy, especially now that it's a bank. Lots of layoffs....100,000 people laid off in the last 7 years. Experienced senior people are regularly replaced by new people, especially ones brought into the company on visas. Most jobs already have moved overseas.

      Pros

      there are many virtual (work from home) positions. i honestly can't think of any thing else that is a pro, i hate this place.

      Cons

      horrible management, everyone passes the buck. constant stupid training calls that don't really train you and are just tooting the horns of someone in 'advisory services' or marketing. management loves to talk about how great they are. don't ever say anything that is not completely positive b/c you will be black listed. stupid development plan process. training new hires is a joke, the current employees have to do it all in between their own work, management can't do it b/c they don't have a clue.

      Pros

      Staying power has been exhibited through the downturns; tries to stay ahead of the competition although its tough to large and nimble

      Cons

      To much tied to credit card industry revenue and that boom time is obviously over. The company needs to do a better job of cultivating the best talent.
