      Would not recommend if you want a meaningful career

      Pros

      - you will probably make friends! like no one over 30 works here. if you miss being in a fraternity or sorority you might LOVE it xx - benefits are generous - pay is decent for the work (but not the hours spent at work)

      Cons

      - work culture is toxic. expect gossip gaslighting white lies etc., - hours are unnecessary; 8a-6p is too much - job could easily be done at home but isn't - no privacy in the office it's like a communal call center

      Great client facing experience with more responsibility than almost any other entry level positions out there

      Cons

      Client comes first, second, and third. The company doesn’t care about you. The employees are young and move up fast so don’t expect any mentorship or quality leadership

      Pros

      Nice office, free snacks, generally good pool of colleagues

      Cons

      Boring work, constant meetings to discuss performance (twice weekly), management have only ever worked at AlphaSights so take that for what it’s worth. Overall, you will ultimately waste years of your life at this job learning next to no transferrable skills. The “client satisfaction” element of the job is the most taxing, as everyone at the company is oblivious to the fact the clients see alphasights as a discardable resource, and not the partnership alphasights spends ages drumming into you. If your smart, you’ll see this company for what it’s worth within a month or so. There’s a reason the turnover is what it is, anyone smart gets out of that place sharp. There’s no work life balance you’ll be there till 8pm
