Pros

Great and unique product. No real competitor to bedside portable blood analyser.

Cons

Plagued with quality issues due to management bad decision: the CRD blue cartridge continues to have yield and other quality issues. Very weak Regulatory Affairs department (management promoted over their competencies). Leading by fear. Worse benefits packages compared to the rest of Abbott. Hourly folks are paid below industry levels. High pressure environment.

Pros

Some Nice and Supportive Coworkers

Cons

Clueless Management, Unresponsive HR, Way Too Much Work, Massive Understaffing. The Quality Department is an utter disaster. Management has no idea what you do, so you are expected to do way more than is humanly possible, no matter how many hours you spend at it. You will be expected to work all hours possible to complete impossible goals. No matter what you do and how much you work, you will only "Achieve Expectations." Forget "Exceeds Expectations." Only one "Exceeds Expectations" is allowed per department and you have to be a good little suck up to get that. Good workers who don't suck up to management and make them feel good will eventually get fired so they can hire new little sycophants in training. Avoid at all costs.
