      Pros

      Best value based sales training i have ever had. Will really accelrate you ablity to sell and make you more desirable in the marketplace. Great benefit package. ADP provides you with the tools you need to be effective out in the field. It can almost be too much.

      Cons

      No upwardmoblity. Very political. Upper management seems unsure of how to grow marketshare and it is reflected in the stock price over the past 5 years. Internal rules get in the way of best intrest of the client. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!

      ADP District Sales Manager position - A high turnover position

      Pros

      If you love sales ADP is a great corporation that offers excellent sales training. If you can sell well it will open doors to a successful career in sales.

      Cons

      ADP sales programs have high turnover. Many people simply don't cut it and there is a heavy revolving door. Plus, management will play games with people when hiring them. In some cases they bring on a person without having a territory open and you have to secretly poach sales from your co-workers areas. Plus, your territory can be far from where you live, making the job more taxing on your minimal car allowance. Also, payroll can be an inherently challenging sale because ADP is often more expensive and business owners often don't really care to switch to a more expensive or equal priced payroll service. Plus, rookies often don't get the perks of seasoned veterans and don't have access to the bank relationships for leads. You'll find the guys closing tons of deals are off of their bank relationships.

      Pros

      It's your typical corporate environment, but the benefits are good. The company spends a lot of money on employee training, and the training is excellent. Most of the employees seem to be pretty sharp, and there is great emphasis on raising morale.

      Cons

      The pay could have been a little better. Other than that, I have nothing against this company.
