Pros

May be a good first job but in the long run the company doesn't care about its people

Cons

YOu are just a number. The company cares about the bottom line. Three of my coworkers who had been at the company for 10 plus years were let go. Just waiting till its my turn.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation currently. ADP is evolving as an organization in many aspects, and one is changing out location strategy to help with innovation. There has been some turnover because of this, but if you feel you are being unfairly singled out for performance or job related activites, please contact us at adp_talent_community@adp.com

Pros

The benefits are better than most

Cons

I was a long term employee at ADP and in my last years (by the way I left on my own) I have never seen such poor treatment of associates in my entire career. The new executive leadership had no respect for those of us that put our heart and soul into this company. It's a shame that they treated people they hired off the street better than those of us that took this company to where it is today. And the people in the position of "President" to run this company were not qualified to be president. Thank God I got out when I did because, when I hear from my peers that are still there all I hear is how the culture continues to decline. Everybody wants out.

Unprofessional cowardly HR department

Pros

I did not get the chance to experience any pros so I have to say NONE

Cons

Unorganized HR dept will waste your time with jobs that don't exist, send you through a gauntlet of useless interviews, cancel half of them without notice, post inaccurate job descriptions, and do background checks to retract an offer AFTER an offer is accepted because some people refuse to relinquish personal income tax documents to prove self employment AFTER the salary has already been agreed upon and the offer signed. They refused to call any actual references to verify self employment. They only want to know what you made for the last 5 years (it is none of their business and the company proved to not be worth this kind of intrusion and intimidation). Then a cowardly and unprofessional HR person will call to retract the offer and run away without as much as an explanation.

We’re sorry that your experience with ADP was unsatisfactory. Due to the nature of our business and the trust that our clients place in us to safeguard their employees’ highly confidential information, ADP conducts a thorough background check on all new hires after an offer is accepted but before employment begins. This includes verifying prior employment, including self-employment. The application that you completed and signed explained upfront that ADP will attempt to verify the information that you provided and that a comprehensive background check will be required at the point of offer.
