Pros

A few years ago I had better support and it felt more like a team and I looked forward to going to work and felt part of something and it was genuinely collaborative and rewarding. I felt blessed.

Cons

It has turned into a luridly toxic organization in every singular aspect of how it shows "care" for people—well, on my team anyway, I cannot speak to all. Nowadays, it is a culture so damagingly disempowering, built on an entrenched CYA culture, superficially focused on short-term optics so 'leaders' can climb ladders, to the detriment of all staff below. Never in my professional life have I witnessed such a sad focus on optics and managing up. It is truly traumatizing to see a company I once loved purport this wonderful inclusion and diversity when, even if you are one team performer and are different in your identity, you will face unrelenting discrimination and covert mistreatment day-in and day-out, where you leave the office or end the work day (by midnight) feeling like a shell of yourself, just to get up to do it all again the next day.

Pros

Liked my co-workers and manager was supportive

Cons

Training- you are in 5-6 months of training that only really prepare you for the 1st three months of client analysis. After that, you have to follow a checklist that you need to do ( which was out of order and needs to be updated). Hybrid- this job should be fully remote. We are hostage into coming into the office 3 days/week to collaborate. Problem is, everyone is so buried with their clients that most of our collaboration is done through Webex anyway. Not to mention if multiple people are on client calls, it is very loud and sometimes you cannot hear your own client speaking. We were moved to salary in which we knew what was coming- getting buried with more clients to where the workload becomes tough to manage. Tons of turnover which means we got even more clients. Management seemed to think that after the recent hiring spree, we were golden.. not true. Many have left for fully remote positions and $15-20k more in salary.

Pros

Nice Co-workers, benefits are good, but medical could be better considering the amount of employees . Some management is good, some have their own agenda or favorites. They are not trained in Payroll or Account management. Most have call center backgrounds, which makes sense since this is a call center

Cons

Misleading about the role. You are not an account manager, you are a call center that assists clients with payroll issues. You have to make the corrections and fix the issues. Not like an account manager where you support and coordinate. It’s extremely stressful role and many people have left. You do the job of several people and are told they are listening to your feedback and make changes, when the changes do not come or completely have nothing to do with feedback. It’s very discombobulated and they keep changing things, because nothing is working or getting better. Unless you have a background in payroll and love to be stressed, and are call center oriented , I do not recommend applying. Other reviews that are positive are from other areas in the company and I am sure they are having a different experience. Dishonest from the start about the role . Not Account Managenent at all! Run!
