Pros

decent base salary, especially for the market (miami at large has an embarrassing experienced professional salary range) several locations intrateam/coworker support was phenomenal sometimes interteam was good (cept with some parts IT e.g., programmers) virtual workplace and remote office opportunities rich subject matter expertise with a SELECT group of peers i was lucky, believe me, with my work life balance, but i did a very good job of getting what i needed

Cons

ration of client to HRBP is silly, its unmanageable trickery about bonus, was told during interview my position title was eligible leadership--strategic and people: there is none little regard for talent accomplishments and contributions mgt contradictions about workload and priorities to supposed client service very expensive client services that continue to put more responsibility back on client HRBP role is transactional, if you're looking for strategic HR consulting, look elsewhere, there's little time and opportunity for it given workload

Pros

internet access, air conditioning, new office supplies, name recognition, young & fun co workers, many company activities during the work day (for holidays, etc).

Cons

Even though they don't tell you in the interview, you are a telemarketer. it is 100% cold calling from the first day unless you try to establish a network of banks and cpas that can be "reassigned" at a moment's notice. territories are rural, nothing towns where mom and pop businesses barely even know what payroll is. expect to do over 100 dials in a day to try and meet their metrics. you're expected to follow their formula and believe, like your management will tell you, that business owners in the US actually like taking calls from telemarketers and that they really want ADP, they've just been waiting for you to call. ok. management seems to believe that lack of sales is YOUR fault and that territory, the idea of telemarketing in general, or the responsiveness of people on the receiving line have nothing to do with it. they encourage scare tactics and lying just to get a sale. they hire young high energy people so don't be surprised if your boss acts unprofessionally. high focus on team building and happy hours, but at the end of the day you're competing against each other for the few measly sales that can be drawn from cold calling. at the end of the day , look at the turnover. the proof is in the pudding.

Pros

Nationally recognized company, good-fair training programs, at first glace their interview process appeared fair and equitable, but was anything but.

Cons

At every stage in the interview process they were either late for the interview time, did not make the scheduled time and failed to re-schedule prior to the interview. The interview process from initial interview (basic), to peer (a complete joke of unplanned, silly questions which where not relative to the position, but were all about fitting in with that manager's age group (30's) with 7 years work experience in the area of expertise. It was discriminatory and insulting.
