Yardi Systems Associate Technical Account Manager interview questions

It was a fairly simple process. I was contacted by a recruiter in linked in and then I had two face to face interviews. I completed their assessment and was offered a position. The while process took 4 weeks.

Typical Phone interview 8:1 Group interview with Team leads Successfully went through with 8:1 and I had final interview left with the Director. HR emailed me stating that Director rejected my final interview due to lacking of real estate knowledge. I had background in system consulting in different field and I have spent 3 months to get final interview and got a rejection telling me no real estate knowledge? It is called as "Associate" which brings candidates from entry level to intermediate and how will candidates have real estate knowledge if they are not from that field? I thought it was very ridiculous reason to receive the rejection but thinking that I am glad that I did not pursue with Yardi.
