I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Third Bridge (New York, NY) in Jan 2014
Interview
Applied online, a 10 min phone interview followed. After that I was invited to an interview with team leader and HR person.
They asked about my CV, my experience and interest in the industry. They also wanted to know what I know about Cognolink and the industry. There was a case study involved.
The interviewers were very nice and open. I didn't feel uncomfortable and tried to answer the questions the best I could. I received a rejection the next day because my experience and skill set wasn't what they were looking for, which was rather annoying since they have seen all that on my CV before I came to the interview. I think they could have found that out during the phone interview the latest...

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Third Bridge
Interview
I interviewed from far away, so there is a phone screen, then multiple video interviews until they decide that they want to see you in the office. They don't pay for transportation--quite frankly they don't need to with the amount of recent college graduates looking for professional experience.
Entire interview is case-based and conversation based. Just demonstrate a modicum understanding of the research analyst industry, and be able to explain that revenue=profit-expenses, and you'll be good to go.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Third Bridge (Londres, Angleterre) in Nov 2013
Interview
Applied online and received an invitation for a phone interview a day later. Phone interview lasted about 20 minutes with questions like what does the company do, my motivation to work for them etc. Next stage was a 2:1 interview at their office, where a team leader and a person from the recruitment team wanted to know more about my background and motivation for applying. The case study was very simply and they helped a lot by asking questions.
