I applied online. I interviewed at Third Bridge (Londres, Angleterre) in May 2014
Interview
I found this job ads on milkround. I applied via the company's website by uploading cv and a cover letter. Then I got an email from a HR woman the next day, which said that I might very well fit their needs and asked for my availability for a phone interview. I had a phone interview with the same HR woman a week later. The interview lasted only 8 minutes. She asked me: how did I handle the transition from A-level to uni and the transition from school to work place? a time of working in a team? what does the company do and how does it do it? what would the challenges if you worked here? do you have any experience of talking to people you don't know and asking them information?
She didn't make a face-to-face appointment at the end of phone conversation, which was a clear sign of rejection, considering the experience of other people who posted here. I was rejected by email in two days, saying my skill set is not strong enough to match the needs and expectations for this position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No tricky questions and very standard. But a 8 minutes phone interview?! I don't know how this HR person decided to reject me so promptly. I joked about this experience with friends as "8 minute wonder". Had bad phone connection with her. Initially the connection was lost after 21 seconds. Then she called back. But it was still bad and the sound was very low. Maybe that's why she had to rush away and hang up before I said thank you and goodbye.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Third Bridge (New York, NY) in Feb 2014
Interview
The first round is a phone screen with the recruiter. You will be asked about your resume as well as questions regarding challenges you have overcome. The second round is an onsite interview. 1 case interview and one behavioral with a manager and team leader. Everyone I interviewed with was very nice, and I enjoyed speaking with them. However, the recruiter is completely unprofessional. She called me two hours before my interview to push it back. Having just flown in to NY that morning, this was a little frustrating. Additionally, I haven't heard anything regarding my 2nd round interview despite leaving a message and sending the recruiter an email.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions weren't too difficult. I felt all questions were fair/standard. How do you prioritize- give me an example? Time you failed. 2nd time you failed. When were you given constructive criticism? My case was about evaluating an investment opportunity in a certain industry. A PE firm wants to enter this industry- what factors would you consider, and who would you connect him with?

Interview
I applied on the website for a position in the NY office and was shortly thereafter contacted for an initial phone screen. Even in the short conversation with the HR representative, I was turned off of this company. She was very rude and unprofessional. I recommend Cognolink address this issue if they want to attract top talent.
