I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Third Bridge (New York, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview process started off well, with a professional and organized team of external recruiters. I was contacted about both roles—I didn’t apply—so it was clear the recruiters saw something in my background that aligned with their needs. However, things went downhill once I reached the first interview with a member of the internal team.
I interviewed for the same role in two different locations, and despite that, I was assigned the same interviewer for both. Unfortunately, her behavior in both interviews was consistently unprofessional. She arrived late, appeared disengaged, and was visibly uninterested, even twirling her hair during our conversation. From the moment she joined, it was clear I wasn’t being seriously considered.
What made matters worse was that both interviews were essentially identical, despite being for roles in different states. She rigidly stuck to the same SOAR questions, with no nuance or meaningful follow-up, making the second interview feel like a frustrating repeat of the first. To add to the unprofessionalism, during the second interview, she paused for five minutes to check with her team after I pointed out that we had already spoken, as if she needed approval to proceed.
Honestly, I’m relieved she didn’t move forward with me. I believe she would have been my boss, and based on these interactions, I would have hated working for her. Overall, it was a disappointing and disorganized experience that wasted my time.

Four rounds. First two are behavioral, third is a case, and fourth is meeting with higher ups. Definitely important to use STAR method during behaviorals, but everyone seems genuinely interested in getting to know you as a person. Overall a positive experience!
