I applied online. I interviewed at Third Bridge (New York, NY) in Oct 2024
Interview
4 Rounds. Online Test. Screening round with HR. Zoom round with local hiring team. In person case study round with some questions mixed in. Researching what the company actually does with good details goes a long way in their interview process.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Third Bridge in Jul 2024
Interview
I did all four rounds and it took about 3 months. First was with a recruiter and he was nice. Then I did not hear back for a month so I thought I didn't get it and then I find out I made it through. Scheduling was difficult, but the same recruiter would schedule calls before each round and make sure I was prepared for the interview and it was great, I've never experienced that. The recruiter emphasized the importance of knowing the job description up, down, sideways, you name it, so I worked hard on that. I eventually did a case study and the final round was with a VP. I lived about 100 miles from the office, but I made the effort to drive there for 2 of the 4 rounds. After the 4th interview, I get a call from the recruiter saying they will not be offering me the position because I did not seem interested enough and that I did not know what the job was. I felt very led on because I always emphasized how I was very interested in the position and I at one point quoted part of the job description.

Question 1
Name a time you had to sacrifice something for a team and how did that turn out?

Interview
Had an introductory video call interview. The interviewer seemed immediately disinterested. Was told I would be updated on if they were moving forward with me or not by next week. Didnt hear from them for months. Even did the job simulation they suggested and scored in the 100th percentile on most of the assessments. I've heard from multiple people working there that they hate it. I had done some networking and talked to a few of the people working there over the phone and all their suggestions were the same, do not work here. They said the work-life balance is horrendous and that they continuously raise the quotas so that they are impossible to achieve. They also mentioned the pay is not fair for the amount of work they are tasked with.
