I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target in Sep 2011
Interview
The interview was your basic behavorial interview. I was asked five questions. All of which are refrenced a thousand times over on Glassdoor in regards to Target interviews. I strongly suggest getting a great example together for each of those questions. Try to think of at least 4 good ones and the majority of the time you can swap them around and use them in ways you wouldn't think. Make sure you advocate growth, customer service, and are polite.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to deliver negative feedback to your superior?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Aug 2011
Interview
Target's interviews are the most challenging I have ever seen. All candidates had a Panel interview with multiple team leaders, two interviews with Executive team leaders, one interview with the store team leader, and a brief phone interview with the district team leader. Aside from the phone interview, each session consisted of five to eight detailed situational questions with answers consisting of a summary, action, and outcome. The whole process from application to notification of approval for the position took about five weeks. It's definitely a challenging process, and was a learning experience in itself.
