The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target in Mar 2010
Interview
Received a phone call from HR asking if I would be interested in a Team Leader position and they gave me a brief overview of the job description. I went in the next week for the interview, met with 2 different managers and then heard back two days later with an offer.
The interview questions were easy, they are all behavioral based and pre-determined questions. Just be ready to present great examples of your past experiences-whether it is work or social related.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Jun 2011
Interview
My interview process started with me going into the store to finish the computer questions, that were multiple choice (which included some math questions) that took about a half an hour then I met with 3 different individuals. 1st person was the store manager, 2nd was a rep. from hr, and 3rd was an ETL. Each asked me 5 different SBO questions. Overall the interview took about and hour and a half, and it was a pretty positive experience.

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview process took a few weeks. I interviewed with the human resources manager as well as three other store executives. The process went very smoothly because everyone was professional. Be prepared to answer a series of " Give me a time when questions...." Talk confidently and be sure to focus on past leadership experiences. Provide examples of when you challenged upside to a previous supervisor or professor. Provide examples of times you went above and beyond the call of duty even though it was not required of you. The company looks for top level candidates so my advice would be to sell yourself and show confidence as opposed to arrogance.
