Interview
I was interviewed for Senior Developer (AVP) role, Singapore location.
1st Round - Screening interview
Basic questions were asked - What is my role in current company, what I do, why I am leaving my current company, etc
2nd Round - Technical hand-on Interview (1 hr)
(1) Implement Fibonacci Series and questions related to it, test cases
(2) How to implement program to fill color in an uneven shape, something how we do in Paint software
3rd Round - Manager Round
Some kafka questions, and general questions
HR asked to upload few documents and fill form. After one week HR round was taken.
4th Round - HR discussion
HR asked about salary details and expectations. They told that it will take 2 weeks to release offer letter once they get all internal approvals.
After one week, HR informed that one more technical round is required and scheduled in next 2 days.
Technical Round -> The interviewer was manager from another team and told that I will be hired for new team. He asked general questions and few technical questions (Completable Future, multithreading, Kafka)
After 2 days HR confirmed that I have cleared interview and the offer letter will be released in next 2 weeks due to internal approvals.
I got job offer from one another company and asked SC hr if they can expedite the approval process. Every time I enquired, HR told to wait max one more day. After waiting for 1 more week, I accepted other company offer and SC HR did not came back even after 2 weeks. Such an unprofessional HR team, it wasted so much time.

Interview
I was asked about my ctc and expectated ctc by the HR and I was interviewed on sep 29 by a manager. He asked questions on high level tools and technologies that i have used. The next round happened 1 week later. I was evaluated by an architect. The interview went well and hr discussion happened in another weeks time. Then I was asked to submit my documents. i waited for a week after submitting documents and checked with the HR. Got a reply that the position is closed. Very un professional behaviour. After that I read reviews about SCB in forums and came to know they have no work life balance and a toxic work culture. Good that I was not offered the position.

Interview
The application was through their job portal. It seems that the company HR functions (or at least the candidates screening functions) were centralized and performed in one of the South Asia countries. The application was for a position in their regional HQ in South East Asia. The HR personnel from South Asia arranged for a remote interview with the department head and one of their senior engineer. On the interview day, only the senior engineer attended. We chatted on my programming skills and experiences. From the discussion, it seems I do possess most of the required skills. It was a friendly discussion. The company never replied and follow up afterwards. This is rather disappointing. It was possible that the company merely arranged the interview to fulfil the regulatory requirements by the government.

The questions were on full-stack development. The related questions include ReactJS (e.g. the latest "hook" library, redux, i18n), Java Spring Boot, database. The candidate was asked to share the related experiences and how the candidate has used those tools in the past.
