I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panda Restaurant Group in Nov 2024
Interview
I'm mainly writing a review because the job description posted for this role was very misleading. It was only once I did the interview did I learn the role was temp-to-perm and you're required to work flexible hours/shifts as well as holidays. This should have been included in the job description — I would have never applied if I had known this.
The interview was fine other than one question that completely threw me off guard. She asked me "what else" I was doing to develop myself professionally. I really didn't know what she was wanting me to answer with because not only am I working full-time, I talked to her about how I'm working on my MBA and am also prepping for the SHRM exam. I clearly do not have much time to do anything else for professional development. This question was a little weird for what is basically an hourly call center position.
I interviewed next week and haven't heard anything back, and honestly don't know if I will, which is fine since I knew after the TTP and scheduling thing the role wouldn't be a good fit anyway.
