Lots of rounds of interviews to really get to know you. They really want to hire people that want to be there. They also asked very in depth questions to see if you aligned with their values.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Panda Express (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2020
Interview
Interview was in depth, they want to know who you are and how you deal with situations. Less personal and more objective. Whole interview process took about 2-3 weeks to fully complete.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Panda Express
Interview
Interview processes are convoluted. You have to jump through a lot of corporate hoops, and you're instructed on how you need to change yourself to fit their mold. I was asked a lot of questions that seemed to be somewhat of a trick, you either had been told the correct answer by your teacher, or you just got it wrong. This is a company that is looking for people to bend exactly to how they want, but then tout that you're free to express yourself. I was told that I had to change a lot of my physical appearance as well. Overall, not worth the amount of money and work they were asking for.

Question 1
If we asked that you change your hairstyle and makeup, would you be willing to change that small part of yourself?
