I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Novartis (Hyderâbâd) in Apr 2018
Interview
The HR called me up to say my CV was short-listed and i was asked to be present for a F2F interview. In the technical round, the first thing the interviewer told me was that my profile did not match their requirements. The interviewer gave me a detailed description of the role, which was very different from what was actually posted on LinkedIN. The HR should have shared my CV with the concerned team or conducted a telephonic technical round, which would have saved all my effort and time that I invested for the F2F process. The HR never got back to me with a clarification. I now believe that, the HR in Novartis act like BPO services, with a focus on showing target/numbers, than handling the real recruitment process. It’s a pity that a firm like Novartis has such inefficient recruitment team.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Novartis in Jan 2014
Interview
Depending on the position, you may be interviewed by as many as 4 or 5 separate panels with 2 people each. It can be an all day event. If you are lucky, it will happen the same day, if not, you will be required to come back because there is always someone who changes their schedule.
