I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Match Group
Interview
The interview was smooth and fun. The manager I interviewed with was great, had a live programming question that was created by him. Two interviews, phone and then live interview coding question.

Question 1
What is your experience with working in an agile team.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Match Group in Jan 2022
Interview
The process overall was clear and made with intent. From the initial conversation with the Sr. Recruiter to the hiring manager to the conversation with the potential peer managers, it was all very insightful. The recruiter did a great job with explaining the overall process, being transparent with the compensation and stuck with me to follow up after each interview and panel. She was extremely considerate of my schedule and followed through with everything mentioned.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you led multiple projects simultaneously?
I applied online. I interviewed at Match Group in Nov 2021
Interview
1. Phone Screen with Recruiter
2. SQL Competency Online Assessment (4 multi-part questions to answer through Code Signal: had two weeks to complete: 24 hours to finish once started - expected to take 2-3 hours if proficient)
3. Behavioral/Experience Interview with manager
4. Excel Data & Presentation Assessment (given a small data set and asked to come up with trends and recommendations then present to the manager and VP of analytics and answer their questions for ~1 hr. Supposed to take 2-3 hours to analyze the data and build ~6 slides, but really takes longer.)
5. Behavioral Interview with VP of Analytics
6. Behavioral Interview with Sr. Director of Consumer Insights
The interview process was extensive (all virtual). It took about 5 weeks from first contact with the recruiter to the final interview. I would have rated the process as positive, but after the 6th interview/assessment I received no information until a month later when I got a generic “we have selected another candidate” email.
I dedicated a significant amount of time to this process. I think the rejection warranted a prompt phone call. In other cases when I interviewed 3+ time but did not receive the role, recruiters had the courtesy to have a 5 min or less phone conversation about the company’s decision.
