I applied in-person. I interviewed at Lush (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
The interview was in a group, everyone sat in a circle & the interviewers (2) described a bit about the company and their products. At this point, it's good to know a bit about the company and to be able to say that you have tried their products. Be engaging, ask questions & contribute information.
Lush has an outgoing, bubbly type of vibe so I matched that with a CV on colored paper, decorated with stickers and designs. I also brought some homemade sweets that I had made the night before, they loved that.
They will touch on a few points from your CV so make sure you're prepared to talk about relevant work experience in a group setting.
Then you will be asked to perform a demonstration; they will give you a product to talk about as though you were informing a customer, or group of customers about what it's for and why it's amazing. You're encouraged to know at least 3 main ingredients in each product & what they do eg. seaweed is nourishing for the skin, citrus has degreasing properties, lavender is calming and a great antibacterial.

Question 1
Demonstrate how you would perform a shop demo to inform customers about this product (a bubble bar)
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Lush (Gosford) in Jun 2013
Interview
Handed in my resume to the Assistant Manager and was selected with 6 other girls for an instore interview. We sat down, drew pictures and pitched products to each other. There was even a scavenger hunt! Even though I got the job, I wished we were being hired based on skill rather that JUST personality. Felt bad for some of the other girls who had a more quiet, calm nature that would have been good for LUSH. Took 2-3 weeks to get back to me because they were swamped with work.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lush in Oct 2014
Interview
Gave my CV and Application Letter in store and it took two or three days for me to get an email back requesting I go to a group interview a few days after that with a name tag I made for myself
The group interview had about 30 people, all the staff were welcoming and it was really fun! Not like an interview at all. They ask you to say a few things about yourself: hobbies, studies etc.

Question 1
They asked us to mould some FUN into anything we wanted and then to link it back to Lush. It was such a broad question with such little time that it threw us all off a bit.
