The process had four stages. First, a video assessment with five behavioral questions, which was difficult. Second, a 45-minute behavioral interview with a UX researcher, also difficult. Third, a one-hour portfolio interview with a UX designer, which felt relatively straightforward. After clearing all three rounds, I received an offer.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IBM in Jan 2017
Interview
I went through two interviews showing my portfolio and thinking behind my work. Generally, they will first spend some time explaining IBM's culture, work and environment, usually debunking what most people understand as IBM in the past. Then showing ~2 portfolio pieces you'll dive into why and how you approched the work you've previously made.
