I got my resume through the door by a friend who works for IBM. Once that happened, I was scheduled to meet with an engineer in person, where we went over my resume quickly. From there, I had 3 phone call interviews where they asked mainly about my resume and how it related to the work we were talking about; their goal was to find where I would fit best in their department.

I had a phone interview for the first round. I found the interviewer was both very helpful and really nice. The first round of interview is a screening interview so nothing too complicated. It lasted around thirty minutes, give or take.

There was a group discussion round fro some of the candidates as well. After this, the ones who cleared these rounds were asked to give an aptitude test after about a week.
