I applied online. I interviewed at IBM in May 2022
Interview
There was a quick application, but had long initial technical interview. Gave lots of time to complete it, but seems like a little too early to give a technical interview before talking to someone.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Oxford, MS) in Mar 2022
Interview
Very relaxed and casual. Had a phone call with the recruiter and was set up for two interviews for a Client Engineering position. Spoke with the regional manager on a Wednesday, and a Data Scientist on Thursday. Communication was friendly, clear, and timely.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview with regional managerwas more conversational rather than question based. A lot of back and forth discussion not centered around any specific questions. Data Scientist asked about the difference between supervised/unsupervised ML, basics of hyper tuning a model, and basic wrangling techniques.
Interview process was quite enjoyable. Interviewer was very supportive. He was giving hints and mostly looking for how you approach to any problem.Altogether it was a great experience.i would recommend this company to everyone .
