I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at CarMax in Sep 2021
Interview
Three rounds of interviews, first with recruiter, then with two more technical folks, then a 3 hours panel interview with technical and behavioral questions. Then, once you think the interviews are over, there is a 'meet-and-greet' with a team you believe you will be placed with. This felt like a bait-and-switch as the team's tech stack and function did not match the job description in the slightest. No communication for over a week, then got an automated rejection letter. Overall, the people I spoke with were very nice, but the process for the candidate can be vastly improved. I spent over 6 hours in discussions, only to be given a generic rejection letter with no explanation. You can do better CarMax.
