I applied through other source. I interviewed at CarMax in Oct 2020
Interview
I'm not even looking for job! I have a successful application as a proves to my resume and work experience. They found me through the LinkedIn and asked for interviews. And I accepted. After three interviews - they only asked what I'm doing in my current position not technical questions - no response and any feedback for 17days! I reached out to them and asked... they told me they decided to go with other candidates. And yes they had multiple positions for different levels of developers. 🥸🥸🥸
I applied online. I interviewed at CarMax (Fresno, CA) in Sep 2020
Interview
The begin with explaining the sales position, and what your sales background is. They ask specific questions about time you had to use knowledge of products to convince a person to buy a product. There is a sales skit where you choose a car so they can see how you interact with customers, this can make or break you during this process, they'll tell you car information doesn't matter but it really does.

I applied online. I interviewed at CarMax in Nov 2020
Interview
I applied online and received an online assessment that involved interpreting charts/tables. After that I was emailed to set up a phone interview. The phone interviewer asked 2 personal questions and then there was a long case. You're not allowed to use a calculator on it and it's basically just doing a lot of mental math which doesn't show logical or analytical thinking so I think it's kind of pointless and gets rid of a lot of really good potential applicants.

Question 1
Land A and land B are on the other side of a river. The people of the town are talking about building a bridge that would connect these pieces with the land across the river. If land A is worth x and land B is worth y, and those prices are a 40% discount of what they'd be worth if the bridge is built, but a 50% premium of what they're worth if the bridge isn't built, how much would land A and B cost in each situation?
