I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at B&Q (Wigston Magna, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
Had to try and sell a product to some HR bods then a small group of us were sent out onto the shop floor to interact with customers. This was all set up as point scoring exercises which I found out when I had to speak to staff one to one. They promptly told me I wasn't suitable for the job and should ring for feedback in a couple of days. I was in the room for probably a minute, no interview and rushed out of the staff area. I think I would've faired better if I had friend or blood relative working there instead of over a decade of retail experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at B&Q (Poole, Angleterre) in Feb 2012

Interview
It was the feedback process which was poor - they took two weeks to feed back the result of the interview with little indication of positive and negative outcomes - just that we found someone "better suited" - and this feedback was only after I chased it a number of times. Really poor experience that put me off the company.
