Interview
So far the process has taken about two weeks. Initially, I received an e-mail telling me they liked my resume, and wanted to interview me through their video interview system. The system is quite strange as there is no one on the other end to talk to. They are just recording your responses. They give you a range of 30 seconds to a minute and 30 seconds to answer up to 7 or 8 basic questions. Make sure you are ready to answer the questions quickly because the timer starts quick. I got an email the following week asking me to an interview via google hangouts. I plan on doing that next week.
The first step in the interview process is an automated, self-recorded webcam interview where you are given a series of questions and have either 30 seconds or 60 seconds to respond. These questions are fairly basic but there are a few that ask about what AlphaSights does and your understanding of the company. Not much time is needed to prepare. The second round is a Google Hangout session with someone from the company, which is also mostly behavioral. I found the interview to be rather impersonal.

Interview
Applied through on campus recruiting and heard back within 24 hours. Initial interview was a video recording and if you scroll through these questions you will be well prepared. Second interview was a google hangouts. Mostly questions about resume- why I picked my school. Interviewer seemed very uninterested from the start of the interview. Seemed like I was the 10th person she interviewed that day and she wasn't that interested in my past experiences. Still in interview process.
