I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
I was invited to take an automated interview with AlphaSights by e-mail. The interview consisted of four questions, very standard interview questions. I looked here to compile a list of all the questions people got and all the questions I was asked were mentioned by others already.
The overall process was very nerve-wrecking. I felt very uncomfortable reciting an answer to the camera, especially since there was a time limit for each answer. I much prefer having a face to talk to. I completed the automated interview a few weeks ago and have yet to hear back from AlphaSights.
After the resume drop, the next step was a video interview. Consisted of questions like: what are you passionate about? What are you excited about for senior year? What does AlphaSights do in your words? Very behavioral focused.
The tricky part about the video aspect is that it's not a Skype interview where you can play off of energy. It's you recording answers essentially on a webcam platform. The question flashes in front of you, there's is a countdown, and then depending on the answer you have 30 or 60 seconds to answer the question to the best of your ability.
