Pros

Little to no supervision, which makes it a great place for those associates who are looking to skate by all day and not deliver on a full days worth of productivity.

Cons

Organization has 0 clarity on the direction it is taking the team. Mission statements are plastered throughout the location however nobody abides by them or fully attempts to live by them. Mediocracy is rewarded and status quo is not challenged.

We certainly hate to hear we fell short of expectations, take every bit of feedback to heart and will certainly game film this one. One of the strong beliefs we hold as a company is people should not need a lot of micro-management or told how to do the right the things. Secondly, we look to reward behaviors and values over just results and sometimes people who are just focused on the results (because this is rampant in many companies) and not looking at how those metrics are achieved will be frustrated. We do recognize that our culture is not for everyone. And it takes people a period of adjustment sometimes until they really understand what it takes to live our core values like "take ownership" (don't blame others..instead look in the mirror) and "be transparent" (admit where you need help or don't understand). We're sorry we weren't a fit for you, but wish you well in all you do!!

Pros

This company does such a great job about giving you the tools you need to learn and grow. I have been here over 7 years and have gotten multiple promotions and raises, the last one within the past couple on months. If you are willing learn driversselect is willing to teach :)

Cons

Every job has it's down side but what job doesn't? For me I don't have anything negative to say :)

Pros

You've been there before, you start a job with a new company and you're in the honeymoon phase. You're gung ho and you really enjoy your new job because it isn't your last job. The people you interview with throw all the key words at you and you think this place is really different, then a month or two later you find out it's just like every other place. Driversselect is not the norm. From day one you hear about how different the culture is, only this time it is for real. Driversselect allows you to be you without conforming. Not only does the culture provide for this, it is one of the most diverse atmospheres I have ever worked in. This culture is promoted from the top down and bottom up. This organization truly cares about its employees and its community and philanthropic partnerships. I simply cannot say enough about this company.

Cons

As a Sales Person/Customer Experience Officer, the hours can be long, it's part of the job and understood. However, management not only encourages you to take off when you are supposed to, it is more or less mandated. The hours are long at times but they are very aware of the importance of the work/life balance. Work when you are supposed to and take time off when you are supposed to.
