Pros

I worked there more than a year, the people are very nice to work with, everybody is young, the medical insurance is ok, great working environment.

Cons

Unfortunately the management is very unprofessional, it feels like a second-hand management! The team lead as a very incompetent woman was chosen due to the simple fact she is bff with the upper management. They do not offer any opportunities to grow, if you are a top employee that's all you're going to get. I witnessed top performers leaving because they were not valued or appreciated how they should have especially on the financial part. They will tell you they tried hard to increase your salary as there is a limit but that is not true, there are no limits for salary increases. The time you have been working there does not count as a plus for your salary even though they tell you that. If you get the chance to work in a newly formed team and prove yourself as the best you can get a very high salary increase just to make sure they are keeping you there, even though in other teams people are working thrice as hard and get no increase. Very unprofessional and unfair. It was a disappointment to work in a place where people are seen only as numbers and targets and the fact that they lie very much!

It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the working environment in the Cluj office. Yardi does not show favoritism and bonuses and raises are issued as deserved by hardworking employees. It sounds like Yardi was not the right fit for you. We wish you the best in your future.

Pros

The company has good benefits. Paid health care, low cost for dental and vision. Good PTO plan. Nice facility. Pay can be good if you come in high.

Cons

This is only relevant to the Colorado Springs facility and the YES Energy product. The YES product started off very well for many years, however, nothing lasts forever. Senior management does not listen to the employees. They have proven many times over that they do not trust their employees. They hire from outside the company for all supervisor positions. This results in the very employees that they do not trust are put into the role of training the supervisor. Management is dismissive and defensive if an employee attempts to resolve an issue. It is believed that the corporate offices has given up on the division/product and they are preparing to minimize the product to only clients that demand the service - or - they are possibly ready to sell the division. The company is loosing clients at an alarming rate. The employees recognize this. However management will lie to the employees stating that the reason for all job postings disappearing is the results of greater efficiency in the process and software. Senior employees of the company are leaving in droves. 7 senior and supervisor people left in the first month of the year. Management refuses to acknowledge the constant loss of clients, employees and industry knowledge. Management has no idea of the actual detail of the work that the employees are doing so when an issue comes up, their answer is always an additional layer of process and reporting. The software has been developed without oversight of quality or impact to existing clients. It is anyone's guess what will happen after a new release. Years go by working around the software. Clients are correct to search for a better service. I strongly advise to look elsewhere for employment. This office is toxic.

We are listening, and we take your comments very seriously. Building a strong team and positive employee experience in Colorado is important to us, and your feedback is a vital part of that process. YES Energy is going through a transition as a product, and sometimes change can be turbulent. Even as we write this, we want you to know that we have been listening and we are working hard to create a more positive environment in your office. As we migrate our energy clients to a single platform, we anticipate things will improve for clients and employees alike.

Thank you for your 6+ years with Yardi and for sharing about your experience as a Senior Team Leader! We are glad to hear that you enjoy our culture of collaboration, innovation, and kindness, and that you have such positive work-life balance! We strive to remain an employer of choice with competitive pay practices and often see healthy salary increases as employees grow in their roles and advance in their Yardi careers. At Yardi, we continue to stay focused on taking care of our employees, taking care of our clients, and growing. We have a kind approach to our hybrid work model, and our employees work remotely 4 days a week and spend 1 day in the office each week. This enables balance and flexibility for our employees while meeting business need. In addition to the benefits of organic in-person collaboration, we have found that employees that work together in the office are much further along in their subject matter knowledge which puts them in a stronger position to grow professionally. Specific areas and zones have been designated across all locations so folks can site amongst team members, and employees are encouraged to book cubes or offices as needed. Should you have any additional concerns, we ask that you please give us the opportunity to help by scheduling time with our VP of Human Resources further discuss.
