Was good, now is bad

Pros

It has decently good benefits

Cons

Company is changing. Use to be great, post covid they’re implementing dress codes, RTO, changing requirements for promotions constantly. Epitome of “ if you’re good at your job you’re rewarded with other people’s work” they sold it as this new age tech company to get you in the door and then quickly change. Terrible communication. They’ll release new rules or changes and no one ever has exact details. Even when you ask HR they don’t know. They’ve also actively hid requirements and information on how to be exempt from RTO which feels shady. They also stated RTO was for collaboration, but everyone thinks it’s a lie and they’re doing it for tax incentives.

Thank you for sharing about your experience in our Atlanta location. Yardi provides, a strong, stable, and kind culture and workplace and our metrics reflect that when we can learn, train, and connect in person, our employees are able to more effectively collaborate, develop stronger subject matter expertise amongst team members, grow professionally, and support our newer team members. Yardi has taken a compassionate and understanding approach to our hybrid work policy, and our current approach (and we are not aware of any further changes in the future) is to have employees on-site 1 day per week. This model considers the impact to our employees and allows for flexibility and balance in our personal and professional lives. If you decide to leave, we wish you all the best in finding a new position that better meets your needs.

Reorg is changing the culture. Now it's bad

Pros

Great benefits, the CEO, teammates

Cons

1. There is fear in employees since the reorg. 2. Managers send passive-aggressive emails insulting employees intelligence. 3. Forced return to office. 4. Company claims no layoffs happen here but they just laid off people not long ago. 5. Culture used to be great but that's no the case anymore.

Thank you for sharing about your experience. We have found that employees that work together in the office can more effectively share ideas, train on new concepts, collaborate on tasks, and are much further along in their subject matter knowledge which puts them in a stronger position to grow professionally. Asking our employees to spend 1 day in the office each week does not seem like a big ask, when the rewards are so great. Employee happiness is very important to us, and while others in our industry are implementing stricter return to work policies per week, and dealing with layoffs, Yardi continues to stay focused on taking care of our employees, taking care of our clients, and growing. We hope you find something that better fits your needs and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

yardi has great benefits. health care and profit sharing

Cons

forced return to office is the only con that comes to mind. leadership is changing and they are starting to flex their muscles and force employees, who have been doing a great job remotely for the prior 4 years, back into the office X amount of times per week. they will say it’s not a mandate, but it is. Kkeep the office visits to monthly or quarterly, it is 2024 and times have changed
