Pros

Nice people to work with.

Cons

Some managers get to work from home whenever they please, the rest of us cannot work from home even though our job would be easily done working from home, the commute into this place is awful for all of us here. It is unfair to the rest of us that our manager works from home 2-3 days in a row but we can never. Management also favors people. People who work there butts off daily get no recognition, they also promote people who do not deserve it. No wonder why some people quit. I think some departments need to be re-evaluated at the waltham office.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. While it sounds like you are very frustrated with your experience, our company prides itself with very open communication channels between all levels of hierarchy. Yardi does not show favoritism and we truly believe in the growth of hardworking employees based on knowledge. We are continuously offering training for managers and hope if employees do experience any concerns, they reach out to our VP of HR to further discuss.

Pros

-It's a job -People are friendly -Food truck wednesdays

Cons

While working here and trying to recover from some severe health problems, my manager called me in to discuss the quality of my work. And that was fair - at the time I was suffering from massive fatigue and brain fog. I don't like sharing with just anyone about my health complication but in this instance it was unavoidable. So I explained my situation to her. Rather than respond in an understanding or supportive way, she simply said, "Well it's possible you may never recover from this. You have to accept that and move on." I was taken aback but didn't say anything as I needed the work. I couldn't understand how or why she could so casually suggest I had to accept my absolute worst nightmare. Yardi obviously doesn't give a damn about the wellbeing of its employees and just sees them as work horses. I'm much happier now that I no longer work there.

Pros

- Most of your team members will be very nice - You will never need to do any overtime

Cons

- Very bad salaries - Very bad corporate culture (no values, no benefits no nothing) - Management has no idea what they're doing - Work is repetitive - Improvements will not be approved no matter how much you fight for them - Management doesn't care (and you'll be told this to your face) about improving the work place environment or culture - Worst salaries in the country (unless you work night shifts)
