Pros

Great company culture, pay, benefits.

Cons

Terrible onboarding experience. No formal training other than a few online elearning courses. Watched other reps sell for barely a week then placed in front of customers and told to sell. New products/upgrades rolled out with little training. Must be very proactive in searching for answers and digging through share drives and online files to find info. Careful not to inquire within tech team for answers or info as they are not to be distracted with questions from the sales team.

Pros

Really strong product (widely recognized as best in the industry) Sales team staffed with good people If you have the right manager there are some great ones Company treats you well, good healthcare, profit sharing, etc. No micro-management in sales

Cons

Lower pay than other comparable companies Don't utilize many of the technologies that we sell Slow to make changes because all big decisions go through the top 5 or 6 people in a company of over 3000 people No training resources for sales Really bad CRM system (should have bought SalesForce rather than building our own)

Pros

The paycheck comes on time. You can make valuable connections in the property management industry. You can put your accounting and technical knowledge to good use. You never get bored, the job is interesting and very challenging. Of course it depends on your personality too, I wouldnt recommend this job to someone who cannot cope with a high level of stress. Middle management is actively involved in client management.

Cons

You have to do overtime if you want things done. No time for training. Weird company procedures and things happening behind the scenes. No clear rules or responsibilities as it concerns working with other teams. This makes things very difficult when you have to work against deadlines. Build releases are not properly QAd. Software enhancements are more like a bad joke.
