Pros

Best in breed products and technology. Excellent pool of specialist resources for salesreps. Exceptional training. Supportive mentoring management. Great benefits.

Cons

Large and vast company. Difficult to maneuver within the organization. Intense-excessive administrative requirements. Complex sales/comp plan. High-stress. Long-hours. "Peformance-by-intimidation" culture.

Pros

No pros that I can think of. Mostly it is not a people friendly place to work. Very little interaction among people.

Cons

Outsourcing - can't outsource everything - but they try Six Sigma/Black Belts - Xerox, like GE, uses the Sig Sigma program as a management trainee tool. Most of the Black Belts I have had the pleasure of meeting or working for are not good managers. This is a fallacy that Xerox lives under.
