Pros

tools and training for the job are great, lower management is good. Xerox equipment is well designed.

Cons

I worked for a subsidiary xerox company. Life was good. Xerox completely bought us, and i became a full xerox tech. Once that happened, monthly lay offs, fewer raises, unrealistic demands, and i went from feeling like a valued employee to just a number. Every month, more people including management were laid off, with those remaining expected to pick up the extra workload. Ultimately i also was laid off. I've been in the industry 15 years, and with xerox 5 years. I am a competent tech, both on the tech side as well as customer side.

Pros

It's a job. Always trying to reach calls per day and reliability numbers. The customers were good. Some became friends.

Cons

Always under a timer. Hurry, fix it as fast as you can then rush to the next call so you can get your calls-per-day quota in.
