Pros

it was a good place to work for the years I worked there. It had good stock options available to me if I wanted them. There are lots of options for part-time work if you only want part-time. If you don't mind driving a long way to your walmart its good.

Cons

All retail has its politics. best advice keep your head down and stick to yourself. You'll do great. not much room for advancement if your disabled. trying to transfer to your hometown walmart is hard (transferring via hardship is hard) I tried. I had to quit due to my mother's and mine health reasons. I wanted to become a teamlead/ manager to help my mom's degenerative back issues. Because I was disabled, nothing was open to me at the time. I had to drive a 1h back and forth to work, and I was often worried about points being counted against me; thankfully, that much wasn't ever done. I give them credit on that. I just wish walmart would have told me they were never going to promote me or give me an transfer to a local store to help my mother's health rather than me have to quit. It shouldn't have come to that much time lost.
